And we are surprised the couple in Idaho now has to pay for cleanup and restoration of the property they legally own, to build a house on. Enforcers in the cafeteria should by now not be a surprise. There would be no retaliation on my child, because that child would never set foot in that cafeteria again.

When my kid started school this year, the only "nutritional direction" I received from the teacher was if I came to eat lunch at school with them, to not bring "McDonalds", or some such.
Not because of any "nutrition requirements", but because the other 19 kids in the class would all want McDonald's too. Which is fine by me. My kids eat fast food so rarely that I can't remember the last time we went.
I think that a situation like this would only occur once. Then I'd be shopping for a new school. Or the state would be shopping for a new "Nutrition Counselor". Either would be fine by me, as well. :-)
