If President Obama didn't already see a sea of red flags, a thunderbolt by Chris Matthews this morning should surely inform him that he has badly misstepped with his decision to force Catholic institutions to provide services that violate their religious principles.
Appearing on Morning Joe, Matthews said that "even liberal Catholics are going to be proud" of Catholic leaders who stand up to Obama, and indeed that the Catholic response "may come to civil disobedience."

Chris is such an easily befuddled man.
Matthews is an idiot.
However, he happens to be right on this one.
Let us pray, “Dear Lord, stiffen the spines of our church leaders and cleanse them of the sin of collaborating with this enemy of the Constitution and men of free will.”
Does he mean like an “Occupy” infestation?
That's because in his mind there's a battle being played out between what he knows is right and what he wishes were right.
Matthews has learned (but will not admit) the tingle on his leg was actually pee as the progressives he loves so much are pi$$ing all over the citizens of this country.
Why these Progressive (aka Marxist/communists) cockroaches of the world were ever allowed to repopulate is beyond me. No wonder they have to re-write history every day.

Apparently Matthews finds fault with Obama doing Satan’s work for him.
“Hey... Barack... they’re DEFYING you... whacha gonna do about it? huh? Barry?”
It’s going to be really interesting to see/hear what Obama is going to do at his news release today about some sort of compromise. I know it will be some paltry change, which will stiffen the backs of the bishops even further.
It is clear that secular Marxists do not speak the same language as the rest of the county. They have no idea what they have done with their overbearing arrogance regsrding people of faith in America. One more thing - in the USA we still have a large population who understand what tyranny is and who can spot it a mile away. It’s sort of like the old statement “I cannot define pornography, but I know it when I see it.” That is sort of what has happened to Chris Matthews here. Notice he harkens back to Thomas Becket, Thomas More and others regarding resistance to tyranny.
Obama has awakened a sleeping giant here and anything he does from now on will only be window dressing. The so-called nice guy is nice no longer; the Emperor has no clothes.
Actually, I think it may be a three way battle between what he knows is right; what he hopes is right; and what he is being paid to say is right.
I wonder if he was asleep in Sunday School and in the Church when Judas got his 30 pieces of silver. After all, Judas was able to spend a lot of them before he died.

Nancy Pelosi, not so much. She is in the same Barky boat and it would be nice for her to ‘cling’ to his decision too. Of course, she would not suffer politically, but how can she back track after calling the decision courageous on Obama’s part?
No one will go to jail yet...not until after the election. They may quietly make some mealy mouth announcement about deferring the implementation and yada yada.
Should zero win, its game over. If he loses, this goes away.
This was a pi$$ poor decision caused by the beotches in his cabinet....he has a real problem saying “NO” to them.

Although I think you were referring to Chris M. here, I’d like to apply it to our so-called “Christian” POTUS. Do you think the Rev. Wright talked at all about Judas’s betrayal of Jesus during those 15 years that Obama sat in the pew listening to Wright’s diatribes against the USA, whites, Jews, businessmen, Catholics, etc.?
