Non-binding primaries mean nothing.
True dat....needs to be repeated....and ....
What happened that FR is so slow. It has made me not read and post as much. Anyone else experiencing this or do I need a new computer
It was started before Iowa. Who do you think orchastrated the attacks on Perry and Bachmann here? And, when that was successful, they turned it on Cain. I can assure you it was NOT Newt or Santorum supporters.
They’ll turn out in November. But not necessarily to vote FOR the Republican candidate. They’ll be voting AGAINST Obama.
I hope.
The electorate is simply uninterested in business-as-usual. Period.
Low turn-out might have something to do with the fact that Tuesday’s contests didn’t actually allocate delegates. Folks as voters may have taken the same attitude toward them that Gingrich as a candidate took toward the one in Missouri: not worth the bother.
FR is painfully slow lately, and I’ve never experienced this before. Thought it was the computer for a while, or the browser, but only FR takes its time. I am usually busy elsewhere so it doesn’t matter much, but still, it does make me wander off while waiting so long for a page to appear. Worse than dialup.

Watching Romney's supporters online turning into Alan Grayson clones hasn't exactly helped get wavering voters excited about Romney, either. Neither has Romney's failure to sell himself at all -- nearly all of his efforts have been to drive his closest competitor out of the race (one intemperate Romney associate actually announced to the press that beating Gingrich wasn't enough, that the goal was to destroy Gingrich utterly).
William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection said that some guys in business deals couldn't "leave the last nickel on the table"; they insisted on humiliating the people on the other side of the table and leaving them with nothing to show for their attempts to make a deal. As Jacobson noted, this sounded like Romney. So maybe many of the people who were at least willing to give the CEO of Godfathers Pizza a hearing might not be so thrilled with supporting a Gordon Gekko.
In a nutshell: Romney and many of his more vocal supporters are just plain unlikeable. Naturally people are looking for an alternative.
Incorrect. If the Establishment forces Mitt, Obama wins. For the same reason there was light Primary turnout, there will be light turnout for Mitt in the general. Merely voting against Obama will not be enough. So Ann Coulter and the rest of the Establishment had better figure out how to gin up love for their puppet, Mitt, because we ain’t voting for Mitt or against Obama... we ain’t votin’. We will however, vote down ticket.
And I think the Estabs are fine with that. They went French on this election long ago.
I thought it was just my computer, but obviously others are having the same problem.
If and only if there's someone on the GOP side worth turning out for.
This is the Mormon version of jihad!
One can only begin to imagine how he will operate if he has the power of the presidency behind him.
The GOP can expect the same non-turnout in November if Romney's on the ballot. I won't vote for him.

Download “RegCleaner” software, Avast anti-virus software, and MalwareBytes
