A handgun will do you no good if you don’t have the situational awareness to avoid, evade, or block and counter the first attack - like this guy did.
It was pure luck this guy was able to avoid, evade, or block and counter the first attack, mixed with a generous amount of criminal ineptness.
I am all for and practice Concealed Carry, but avoiding getting into such a situation is better than relying on luck or criminal ineptness to save one’s ass. As my GrandDad used to say, “use your head for more than a hatrack”.
