Taking with a grain of salt but lots of Freepers, including me, have the attitude of another exercise of holding nose while pulling the lever or refusing to vote for Willard.

It may be PPP, but to be fair, they have been the most accurate in these primaries. I know one thing: if Romney wins the nomination, I sure as hell won’t be excited to vote in November, if I even decide to do so.

People not showing up for non-binding primaries is an indication of nothing.

I believe this, because the RATS are getting nervous their guy is on the ropes.

Wait til the R campaign produces a nominee, and you’ll see a different story.

“Our last national survey for Daily Kos found that 58% of Democrats were ‘very excited’ about voting this fall, compared to 54% of Republicans”

Public Policy Polling is a group of Democrat propaganda operatives who use rigged and inaccurate opinion polls for the sole purpose of promoting Democrat propaganda points.

Remember Fight The Smears and other groups that supposedly fact checked information but actually just spread Democrat talking points.

This poll was funded by Daily Kos, is there really anything else that needs to be said?

Democrats are now more excited about voting ...

It's not JUST about holding ones nose. R's and C's and T's had been EXTREMELY excited about voting in the fall... up until the mittsters in Iowa started spending MILLION$ on negative ads against other R's. That triggered retaliation, but the initial catalyst was Romeny - we now have him to THANK for dampening the enthusiasm.

IF, the schmuck had just campaigned about what he would do, and how bad zer() was/is/will-be, then he'd still be around 25-30%, but the enthusiasm would be OCTAVES higher in pitch. But, nooooo... he just couldn't follow Reagan's 11th. Not only is he no conservative, he is not a real republican as well, as evidenced by his actions in and since Iowa.

The mistake is in conflating enthusiasm and determination.

The current crop of candidates is certainly nothing to get excited about, as evidenced by the turnout in primaries and caucuses, but I for one will crawl naked over broken glass in November to vote AGAINST the left. My bet is that overwhelming numbers of conservatives and Republicans feel the same.

I held my nose and voted for the Big Bush. Then Dole. Then the Little Bush. Then McCain. 1988 to 2008. Twenty years.
No more. Never again will I hold my nose and vote for a RINO. Not again. Not ever.

This information is totally worthless. Everyone knows that it's the "independents" who choose who is going to be elected.

sarc/

This is just more Save Our Barry (SOB) propaganda from the liberal progressive "media". There seems to be a lot of that going around these days. Must be "election" time.

IMHO, you are badly mistaken. The enthusiam is down simply becasue both Mitt Romney & Newt Gingrich playing idiots have turned off many excited GOP voters. The mortal enemy is un-American, POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat Party “America Haters”. I could care less about the trysts of these two losers. I was overjoyed with the Santorum performance last night, because it finishes off Gingrich for good, and...puts Romney on the endangered list. I want all of our candidates to aggressively attack and destroy Obama, politically. Neither Mitt, nor Newt came even close, both wrapped up in their own self-created follies!!! I say, broom both Gingrich & Romeny!!! Go Santorum!!!

How could anyone get seriously fired up to vote for Romney or Gingrich? Most folks think one of them is going to be the nominee, and they don’t like it.

Like it or not, there will not be enough enthusiasm amongst conservatives to elect Romney over Obama.

Anyone else, perhaps. Romney as the nominee, no chance of winning due to the apathy factor.

"Our last national survey for Daily Kos found that 58% of Democrats were 'very excited' about voting this fall, compared to 54% of Republicans."

Anyone doing polling for Daily Kos is about as trustworthy as Daily Kos...which is saying something even in today's dishonest media climate.

Besides, all it takes to get liberals "very excited" is for their thought controllers to tell them to be.

Another entitlement promise of a new shiny object will do it every time.
