Was the show any good?
Two of my all-time favorite movies had Madonna in them: ‘A League of Their Own’ and ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’. Plus, I enjoy a lot of her music. I’m not falling for the Joaquin Phoenix-style crazy talk.
Did I miss the super bowl again? Oh darn, maybe next year.

What is your take on the choir at the end?
From what I understand they were all taken from local church choirs (one of them a friend of mine).
I didn’t bother watching. For several years the half time show has been too much flash and glitz. I use the time for a bathroom break, snack refills and beer run.
There are some things to marvel at here. One, she created herself from obscurity into a heck of a money maker. Two, she’s in great condition for a woman that age. But the whole show the group watching her at our home kept saying, “Here it comes. She’s really going to let it go now.” Ha! When it was over all I could think was, “Where’s the beef?”

All she is, aside from her money, is the world’s greatest wannabe.

I can’t comment on the halftime show because I switched it off the nanosecond this woman appeared. Switched it back when I knew she was over.

I was watching the Puppy Bowl and the Kitty halftime show at the time and missed it.
Madonna is an incredible story of a person who can’t sing, dance or act becoming fabulously wealthy. Without the media to promote her, Madonna would’ve been a third-rate act at a smokey, cheap seaport dive in Thailand.
