Rush is just conditioning us to accept Mitt if he is the nominee. Rush is a convenient Conservative, like DeMint.
With Mitt as the nominee Obama will win easily.
Why would people vote for a Socialist who lies and pretends to be Conservative (that would be Mitt). They would rather vote for someone who never lie about being Conservative.
Mitt and his supporters in the MSM and GOP-e are beyond loathsome.
What do you base that Rush nonsense on? I’ve been listening to him for 12 years and that sounds a little tin foil to me.
You are full of it.
If Rush is a convenient Conservative then I guess there are very few hard core conservative conservatives out there.
He is on the Air daily promoting freedom, liberty and conservatism and there is nothing convenient about that.

LISTEN UP!
This is an existential battle! We don’t get to say, “Oh, excuse me Mr. Marxist-Leninist, please adhere to the Marquis of Queensbury Rules. I don’t really agree with all the fine points of our candidate, so I’ll stay home and pout. I don’t fight at night or on weekends. You can’t use suicide bombers ‘cause it isn’t fair. You better abide by the Geneva Convention. Mom, they’re cheating!”
We are in a fight for the survival of the American Republic. Our children and grandchildren deserve liberty. There can be no talk of capitulation to these statists. Everything is at stake. So toughen up and resolve to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to win. Focus! Liberal socialists must be defeated and beaten down as completely as possible. STOP THE DEFEATISM RIGHT NOW AND RESOLVE FOR VICTORY. VICTORY!
We must make sure that Romney is not going to be the nominee. Who cares who nominates him. Do you need someone to tell you who to vote for? I sure don’t
You are kidding, right? Rush a "convenient conservative"? I've been listening to Rush since May of '89 and never once have I heard him take the easy way, i.e. the liberal way, out of anything. Case in point, his refusal to really get behind McCain in '08. He knew Mr. McCain was a moderate at best and refused, I believe as Rush put it, to "carry his water".
