I believe she resigned her seat because she is mentally impaired and her husband know it and does not want to embarrass her..

Obama would be very stupid to exploit her...just my humble opinion..

she has come a long way and the future will be difficult and the years ahead difficult for her family, I know from having a brain injury in my family..we love them but they should not be exploited.

I agree. Giffords recovered more than I ever imagined possible from such a terrible wound. She should be allowed her privacy and her dignity. Didn’t any of these people notice that she had a friend read her resignation letter??
