Not really. The candidates we have had this time around are far better than in 2008. Romney actually made the candidates we had in 2008 look conservative. I’d happily take Romney, Gingrich, or Santorum over McCain.
Of course, conservatives ran off Bachmann, who undeniably conserative.
Palin came out and said it was not Bachmann’s time yet.
Could not have made Bachmann’s too happy the opposite of an endorsement.

The rate it is going will no longer be a duopoly as voters sick of both parties. Independents tend to be more moderate
