I’m sick of hearing Republicans say “repeal AND REPLACE.” Why should we replace this monstrosity? That’s the wrong-headed argument!

Government step off of private industry health care! Governmnent is ALREADY way too involved!

When health insurance was introduced it was affordable and provided necessary coverage for unexpected, catastrophic medical expenses. Insurance moved into group coverage with employment plans and was a bargain - as was medical care.

States regulated sales of insurance products but did not mandate coverage, exclusions or premiums - only reserves and licensing.

Then the Federal Government got involved through Medicare, Medicaid, labor unions and special interests - forcing Insurance companies to adjust their actuarial calculations, increase premiums for expanding benefits and necessary reserves.

The Federal Government already controls medical practice, drug prescriptions, hospitals, coding, fees charged and follow-up care. The next confiscation of private property are insurance company reserves and claims filing/ processing assets. Expect to see all medical and insurance personnel become Federal employees.
