Romney poisoned the well ( Negative attacks started in Iowa by Mittens )

There is a trend developing to assign equal blame to the poisoned atmosphere in the Republican campaign, as if there were no cause just effect.

I’m not going to allow history to be rewritten the way the Romney campaign and its supporters tried to rewrite the history of the Reagan revolution and the conservative movement of the 1990s.

This campaign started positive for Newt. Relentlessly positive, as he likes to say.

Relentless postivity worked until Iowa, when the Romney campaign and its SuperPAC unloaded with everything they had, joined by Romney’s supporters in the conservative media. Romney wasn’t the only one unloading on Newt, but he was the most relentless and well financed.

Newt tried to stay positive in Iowa, and did so until the final few days but it was too late.

Since then the campaign has been a toxic drink of accusations back and forth, with Romney far outspending Newt many times over on negative advertisements and using his media connections to distort history.

We know who poisoned the well. The same person as in 2008. That should tell you something right there.

Dewey Defeats Obama !

“Some 63 years and $15 trillion in debt later, with the country teetering on financial disaster and the tidal wave of un-payable entitlements looming, the reason so many of those early conservatives were horrified at what Dewey proposed has come all too vividly clear. If Thomas E. Dewey had lived long enough to read Mark Levin’s Ameritopia, even Dewey might finally understand what this feckless, wimpy moderation of conservatism has wrought.

And how did Dewey think the Republican Party would fare if it failed to nominate moderate candidates who did not view the GOP as …and you’ll love this Dewey quote…a “liberal and progressive party”? What would happen politically were the GOP to return to its origins and nominate a conservative? Said Dewey: “You can bury the Republican Party as the deadest pigeon in the country.”

In short, the man who had just finished losing the White House for the second time in a row as a moderate — following a string of losing moderate GOP presidential campaigns featuring names like Hoover, Landon, and Willkie — had all by himself raised the moderate losing streak to five in a row. Yet Dewey had the gall to insist that nominating a conservative would result in: losing the White House.”

Nothing wrong with negative ads

Romney spent 17 MILLION in Fla alone. He spent millions in Iowa on his campaign. Why should 4 states decide who our nominee will be? the GOP needs to change the primary system..it sucks. Of course Romney would win NH...he has a home there and it is his territory. Don’t forget...Mitt has a long way to go to reach the 1245 delegates he needs to get the gop nomination. Newt will win many more states especially in the south.

Never said that.

Negative ads work, it`s proven.

We`re talking about pure propaganda from the progressive RNC and Oromney and who started it so no one forgets when Dewey Defeats Obama in November.

And what makes anyone think that this piece of crap will be any different as President. He will be a dictator like King Obama and I can guarantee he will take America down while enriching himself. Romney is for Romney and to hell with us.

Ode to the Grand Olde Party, and their BFF, the Obamanator.

When Newt or Paul rocks the GOP Establishment Boat,
The GOP oarsmen pull knives from their boots.
The hacking and slashing puts extreme fighting to shame,
Never, no NEVER rock the GOP Establishment Boat!
The GOP cannot win elections, by choice of their suits,
A RINO Nominee is a Democrat, - - - - one and the same.

Two Party as One Party is what they adore.
“Never give voters a choice,” ( or politicians
Are out of life-time jobs, - - forever more).

As we pay our bills holding our noses as we vote,
The Obamanator holds his cold, steel knife
To America’s throat - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - .

The downright lies is the real crime, you are right.

Negative ads never bothered me, its the deliberate knowing they are false lies, and coming from a so-called christian/mormon. Say it often enough and the peons will believe it.

Just shows Romney has no moral character.

Voters will almost always say they don’t like negative ads. . .yet these same voters will almost always allow these ads to significantly impact who they vote for.

Mitt’s campaign would make Barry and David Axelrod blush. He’s poisoned the well and I’d never vote for him in a million years. He’s a white mormon Obama.

LOl — You don’t have to worry about a Romney Presidency. Ain’t gonna happen.

Conservatives will have to go home, try to survive the next 4 years under Obama, (if we can) and perhaps by 2016 they will have figured out how NOT to allow idiots like Paul and Romney ever get on our ballots, how NOT to allow spoiler candidates, and how to UNIFY their message.

OR, we can get it together now and smack these chumps down NOW.

Obama is loving it. While Republicans destroy each other, he can save his money for the real battle.

Face it, the B team is what the republicans have up for nomination. Nobody who worked with Newt has much good to say about him , and most of the candidates who ran in 2008 couldn't stand Mitt. Even Huckabee thought he had no "soul". McCain referred to him as only a soldier could in more colorful terms.

Therefore, Conservatives and Republicans must do all they can to support their state Congressional and Senate candidates. We can try for some overrides or at least bottle up Obama.

But you never know, the national unemployment rate is expected to go back up to 9%, and no incumbant had ever be reelected with that kind of number.

Yesterday on Hannity’s radio show, Mittens had the NERVE to say that there was a poll regarding the attack ads, and the results where that most people believed that Newt was the most guilty of doing the attacking. My head almost exploded. How in the hell could a poll show that, when the ads are overwhelmingly coming out of the Romney campaign. Who did they poll? Mitt’s sons and wife? Two year olds?
