- I’ve heard of these housing projects. The only part of America I’ve visited is Florida, but I’ve understood there are very depressing neighborhoods in the US just like there are in big European cities like Paris, Berlin and London.
Like a certain member of this forum said regarding a trip to Chicago: “mile after mile of tenants” (not wishing to insult the city of Chicago by that quote of course).
On the other hand, people who are (comparatively) poor in these cities live in paradise compared to people of today and throughout history that really could be considered as being ‘poor’.
