God help me, I detest Romney as much as Obama now. I always disliked him and I always knew I could never vote for him. But after seeing his cutthroat, ruthless, rotten, wicked, underhanded campaign against Newt, all the while keeping that insincere, superior little smile on his face, the very sight of him sickens me. He is one of the most repellent individuals I have ever seen.

What I don’t understand is, how can so many people not see it? How can they cast a vote for such a piece of garbage?

You said it!

It is incomprehensible in this day and age of information technology that we can appear willing to board-the-trains! I’m sorry, but this is so insidious and transforming as to make this poster believe it is not of ordinary human political magnitude, but the work of principalities and powers in a darkening world. Just staggering.

easy, it’s a 3 way race and Romney’s ads are effective at pushing people to the alternative (Santorum)

If Santorum were to drop out, they would have no where to go and the negative ads wouldn’t work as well.

Romney is in the perfect position, he can ignore Santorum (thus making him look better than he is) because Santorum will never pose a threat, while firing relentlessly at Gingrich. Romney has to thread the needle to win this, and he is pulling it off so far. However if Santorum leaves the race it’s a whole new ballgame and Romney will have to give people a reason to vote for him and not against Newt.

Agreed. I was prepared to ultimately accept the shite sandwich of a Mittens nomination if Newt or Santorum couldn’t grab the ring. But, after this past coupla weeks and the RINO establishment becoming cheap-shot snipers against Gingrich (and completely ignoring Santorum) and Romney also playing dirty, I am so angry I could spit blood! Also, reading that Mittens mentor, his father, had a fondness for Saul Alinsky — I am almost resigned to 0BowMao getting another four. Mittens will NEVER repeal 0ZER0care! God help us!

I know that Newt has had his “issues” — but on his worst day, Gingrich is a saint compared to this self-professed “Moderate/Progressive ‘Republican’ ,” Willard Mittens Romney! And should Mittens become the nominee, it WILL be the end of the Republican Party!

I'm not so sure people don't see it. Abe Lincoln said a mouthful when he said, "You can fool some of the people....."

During the last debate, Speaker Gingrich was drawing a comparison between his wealth and Romney's. He used his right hand closed and low to indicate his wealth and left arm held high to indicate Romney's. A mouse vs an elephant, I believe, is what he said.

Romney's reaction at the mention of his vast wealth - was to puff up his chest, smile broadly and nod his head in the affirmative. He even pivoted his body toward Speaker Gingrich.

Beside flat out bad manners - I'm sure people who are unemployed/under-employed or are in foreclosure - noted it, if not only subconsciously. It's one thing to be successful but quite another to gloat in the face of an America in dire financial straits.

That one gesture was the beginning of Romney's unmasking, and he's only going downhill from there.
