No, the survey was conducted between Monday and Wednesday. The first debate was on Monday. I still happen to think Newt did better in the debate on Thursday than he did on Monday, although Mitt probably did as well. The Monday one was filled with Mitt’s “resigned in disgrace” line. And I think both Newt and Mitt suffered some awkward blows on Thursday, but both also had overall better moments than they did on Monday. I think we all felt a comedown from Newt’s stellar performances in South Carolina, especially the FOX News debate, but that didn’t mean he put in bad performances here.
Wow, just noticed Paul’s negatives are HUGE in this poll, far beyond the other 3 candidates. 58% to the next lowest 37% for Newt. Must be his desire to play footsy with Cuba and abandon Israel.
Notice they put higher standards on Newt on what is a good debate. I think Thursday with Santorum ripping his Romneycare - and 13 points are exactly like obamacare - Mitt did not do good at all. And his response to the space program and if one of his staff came to him...blah, blah, he’d fire him. Mitt is always firing someone - he gets off on authority. Me thinks Trump should enter the race - and fire Mitt. :)

About the RP negatives, I thought Newt did a smart thing in complimenting RP whenever he could in the Florida debates. If any of RP's supporters come to their senses before Tuesday, they might be more inclined to throw a vote Newt's way just because Newt was nice to RP. It's a longshot, I know, but if the primary results are as close as it looks like they might be, every vote will count.
