Santorum has said again and again he is in it for the long run, and will prevail in the end after Newt & Mitt expose each others baggage to the fullest and kill of each other.
If I thought an outspoken social conservative who has been actively hated by large chunks of the Democrat base for years had a chance, I’d support Santorum over Newt. But we don’t live in that reality.

He won't prevail and his legacy won't be pretty for his kids to live with. If Newt drops for any reason, finally Santorum will be vetted properly - he will then have his 'Bloody Thursday'. His self righteousness is truly blinding him.
