I really like Issa and think that some of these investigations and hearing will have an impact on the presidential race. Keep up the pressure. Lets get the facts out on this corrupt and inept administration.
Issa is a bulldog. He has been handling this very professionally.
Issa's problem is that he knows a special prosecutor will not be appointed. At least, not until a new administration takes office.
In the meantime, he has no enforcement power -- only investigative power. The best thing he can do is build a case -- uncovering as much of the scheme as he can and compromising as many participants as he can.
It seems to be a standard "courtesy" that incoming administrations "forgive the sins" of prior administrations. But Fast & Furious was a direct attack on the nation's foundation -- not to mention a deadly exercise that cost hundred (if not thousands) of innocent Mexicans their lives.
This is an investigation that should go the distance. And the guilty should be punished accordingly.
Hmmmmmmmmm. Would a Romney administration do that? Would Newt?
