This is either one hell of a hoax or George Lucas stole his idea for the Millennium Falcon from aliens. I mean, c'mon, it even has the pilot's cabin located in a pod on the same side of the craft.

If you can imagine an airplane crash pattern on the ocean floor this is exactly like what it might look like for a ship crashing into the sea bed from sinking above. I have seen many patterns that are exactly the same.

How deep was the water? If you can tell me the depth, I can generate a number for the dying ships speed when it hit the bottom. All the other values, except gross tonnage are constants.

The shape of the wreck reminds me of a picture of a sunken oil drilling ship complete with it's detachable platform.
