Also - My husband has been on a lot of government commissions and boards as an industry advisor. In other words, he doesn’t get a vote. So, he lets the facilitator conduct their discussions and go through their whole routine coming up with what they consider a consensus and then he speaks up at the end and points out all the holes in the opinions and why they are wrong, siting the technical data and facts. The meeting is supposed to be over and they all just sit there like idiots and make their decisions in committee.
Oh, for those good ole days.
Anyone who remembers Newt as Speaker of the House will remember how reviled he was by the Left and the media.
There is nothing they can throw at him that he can’t handle. Nothing. He was tempered by fire.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before this would bear itself out in debates, where a weaker candidate might get flustered. Newt has a brass pair.
