For some reason, ABC forgot to mention this during their interview with Marianne Gingrich. Marooned in Marin reported:
A poster at FreeRepublic found this from a 1995 PBS show, The Inner Quest of Newt Gingrich. Very interesting comments from Marianne Gingrich, when they were married at the time.
But his greatest presidential stumbling block may be right under his nose. At home, Newts second wife, Marianne Ginther Gingrich, tells me she doesnt see herself in the First Ladys job. Watching Hillary has just been a horrible experience, commiserates Marianne. Hillary sticking her neck out is not working.
What happens if Newt runs?, I ask.
He cant do it without me, she replies. I told him if Im not in agreement, fine, its easy she giggles at her naughtiness. I just go on the air the next day, and I undermine everything
I dont want him to be president and I dont think he should be.

The New York Posts this morning reported that Marianne Gingrich once had an affair with a married man a local boss for the United Auto Workers union, in fact? The Washington Post is said to have reported on this back in 1995.

I cannot speak for anyone else, but I have had a belly full of the libtard run drive-by-media. My TV never ever is allowed to show that garbage since bubba klintoon days of impeachment. That is about the time I started to realize just how in the bed with RATS the 4th estate really was. Not more - get all my news off FR and Drudge with other conservative sites thrown in for complete coverage.

Marianne Gingrich once had an affair with a married manWasn't she having an affair with Gingrich when he was married? What did she think would happen when she married the man she was cheating with? Did the interview the other night challenge her on that?

“The New York Posts this morning reported that Marianne Gingrich once had an affair with a married man a local boss for the United Auto Workers union, in fact? “
She has proven her self to be a liar, unethical and immoral as she is an admitted adulterer.

Now let me get this straight. When she was married to Newt, she threatened to sabotage him because she
did not want to be First Lady.
And new she attacks because she won't be First Lady?
Oh yeah, she's very credible. Lets take her seriously. /s

I am not crazy about Newt, but President Obama is literally destroying the country. Four more years of an Obama Administration will do damage beyond imagination. It will take years to undo, the horric mess that President Obama has made. If Newt is the best we have, we go with him.

That's very interesting. Even as then Mrs. Gingrich she was so opposed to the very idea of her husband as president she vowed to tank his chances.
That's just a little bit crazy.

Just watched the
Frontline video "The Long March of Newt Gingrich" which was linked at the PBS 1995 article The Inner Quest of Newt Gingrich mentioned in your post. Part 3 of 6 titled "The Ruthless Road to Power" provided a potentially useful clip to be used during the general campaign. At the nineteen minute mark, Newt's friend David Kramer reveals Newt's peculiar reaction to attending a Jefferson Airplane concert in New Orleans. Newt asked David, "Is there any political value to this?" It became clear to those around Newt at the time, that Newt enjoyed . . .get this . . . political organizing. Who'd a thunk we'd have two political organizers to choose from in this next election?

If you remember the movie “Lean on Me” with Morgan Freeman, remember the controversy caused by the new Principal, Joe Clark. He was brash, rude, unlikeable, and took no sh*t.
Perhaps Newt is our Joe Clark.
