"As part of its efforts to seek federal bankruptcy protection, the United States National Slavery Museum is trying to stop the appointment of an examiner to review its finances."
Not surprised. A national disgrace kept very quiet, with the exception of some persisent local reporters. A review of the books (if they even kept any) would result in criminal indictments for several prominent players in this farce. As soon as money started rolling in, it vaporized. The whole thing was run like a corrupted Third World kleptocracy, and nobody dared say anything for fear of being labled racist.

The museum filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September and reported $7.2 million in liabilities and $7.6 million in assets essentially nothing more than the donated land. So all of the money donations disappear and all that is left is the donated land.
Nothing to see here move along folks.
