Newt should stick with assiduously attacking Mitt on all social issues where Mitt is to the left of conservatives as well as assiduously attacking Mitt on all problems related to RomneyCare. Forget about all of the Bain attacks, Newt! All of the problems related to RomneyCare should be enough to defeat Mitt Romney. Mitt signed off on RomneyCare, before the Democratic, leftist state legislature of Massachusetts tweaked things on RomneyCare later, but Mitt had to sign off on RomneyCare, first, before the state legislature changed things on it later.

Actually, I think Mitt’s conduct while he was involved with Bain Capital was despicable.

But it must be said that Newt really blew it by failing to point out the real problems and making it sound like he was attacking capitalists in general.

Sure, the media have distorted and exaggerated what he said. But what he said was pretty dumb, because he has been in the business long enough to know what the media would do with the sound bytes he gave them.
