Randall Terry Campaign to Run Pro-Life Commercials During Superbowl Game

The Randall Terry for President Campaign is about to make Pro-Life and Human Rights history. During Superbowl 2012, the most watched sporting event in the United States, the Randall Terry for President Campaign will run hard hitting television commercials which will expose the evil of every procured abortion.

...They are able to do this precisely because they are presidential campaign. The Terry for President Campaign has purchased air time for these advertisements in 9 cities. They are working hard to raise the funds to purchase air time in twenty more cities....

Every major human rights movement has its heroes. They are the men and women who make extraordinary sacrifices in order to call attention to the grave injustice they are exposing and to enlist support in their passionate crusade to eradicate its evil effects...

The most important human rights movement of our age is the struggle to restore the recognition of the Fundamental Human Right to Life of our youngest neighbors in the first home of the whole human race, children in the womb. Without the Right to Life, there are no other rights. Rights are goods of human persons not ethereal concepts.

...Reaching into the first sanctuary, a mother's womb, and, through surgical strikes, chemical weapons, or dismembering, taking the life of that child within is an abominable crime; whether the positive law of the United States currently recognizes it as a crime or not. We know it. When a pregant woman is killed due to a vehicular homocide, we prosecute the offender for two murders!

One of the heroes of the contemporary human rights struggle to protect our first neighbors and bring an end to the bloodshed and injustice of "legal" abortion is Randall Terry...

Make no mistake, these ads depict something horrible. However, when the veneer of civility is torn off of the evil of intentional abortion, all that is left is the reality of the evil it truly entails.

Seeing it is far less awful than being the cause of it. The anti-smokers have demanded things like showing lungs with cancer, people dying on ventilators, etc to be shown on commercials and even on packs of cigarettes so a precedent has been set.

In before the snipers arrive. Randy’s shortcomings and failures are known and really do not need airing again.

The stark reality is that he tries to protect unborn humans from being murdered. And my hat is off to him. Let’s send him some money.

Another stark reality is that other than this ONE position, Terry is not a nice person. He is from my home town, and I know a whole lot about him and his antics.

I suggest anyone that really supports a person like this for any political office take some time to look at his whole background. You won’t like what you see.

I have a better idea, why don’t you just tell us if you know so much.

Agree!

I liked Randall Terry on a C-Span debate I saw last week..lots better and clearer than Obama ever could be! PLUS, when Vermin Supreme (also a lesser known dem candidate!!!!) sprinkled magic dust on him, he didn’t come unglued.

Everyone has a past, a present and a future. Yes, some are evil now and will be in the future but if one’s eyes are opened in the present for a better future, let them have at it!

I miss the GOD billboards!

One does not need to be from Binghamton to be aware of Randy's past. I support those who stand for the voiceless and defenseless unborn.

I give little worth to snipers. As the great Bob Dylan sang, "There ain't no man righteous, no not one.

And before him, the Lord Himself, "He who is without sin among you, jet him cast the first stone..."

The stark reality is that he tries to protect pre-born humans from being murdered.

True. And that is why he is in the Presidential race: not to become President, but to get pro-life ads out there. The ads will save lives, and his flaws won't preclude that effect.

Who is sniping? I am stating the truth.

If you want to put that guy on a pedestal, that’s your look-out. Other than his pro-life stance, he hasn’t got a thing in his character to recommend him.

Who, besides Randy Terry, is running ads during the super Bowl to highlight the horror of abortion? I’d like to send him some money.

Do I need to tell you that the Super Bowl draws the largest audience of any television show? Do I need to tell you that football non-fans tune in just to watch the COMMERCIALS?

You turned this into an attack on Randy Terry. I have posted to support an effective strategy to put the horror of abortion into the faces of the American sheeple.

Weird. Who on earth was even talking about the superbowl? Strange logic. BTW, I didn’t attack that person, I simply said that he doesn’t belong on a pedestal just because he happens to have ONE redeeming point in his favor. But then, as I mentioned - around here we know that man very well.

He is the sum of ALL his parts. If you think that is a harsh way to consider a persons character, then consider me harsh.

The first sentence of the OP talks about the Super Bowl. Did you even read it. Or did the name of Randy Terry trip your trigger?

Congrats on the straw man (the one you created and placed on the pedestal). My comments have all been in support of actually DOING something to expose the horror of abortion. I wish we had a glorified and sanctified saint to be the bearer of the message.

I asked you for a name of ANYONE who is doing an outreach to such a massive number as Randy is doing. That’s a pretty simple request.

So. How many commercials did your Terry run?

There are many people who are engaged in such an outreach. Many, many people. All over the world in fact.

As I stated, Terry is the sum of his TOTAL. That is why I am not a “follower”. Again, if you think that is harsh - so be it.

Uh, the Super Bowl is February 5.That is in the future, so I can not answer your question. If you read the OP you would see how many cities he is trying for.

I know that many people are doing pro-life outreach. No one but Randy is using Super Bowl Sunday on television, though.

It’s just too bad that a good work cannot simply be acknowledged. My work here is done.

Good. But will they even LET him put up a single commercial? Where will the hundreds of thousands of dollars per spot come from?

All things being fair, Terry appeals to a certain type/segment of pro-lifers specifically BECAUSE he is so over the top controversial in his “methods” to get the message out.

This is not always a great thing for a cause. Especially when his character does not live up to his own hype.

Meh.
