Romney is better than Obama - but that doesn’t say much. He and his backers are part of the problem - the GOP establishment which gave us the Bushes and McCains and, indirectly, Obama.

Sure. Leave aside the fact that Romney actually grew the government in Massachusetts while governor.

More likely, Romney will apply the Bain tactics on the Republican Party which he is in the process of purchasing. He'll lay off conservatives, advance himself and his cronies, and leave the party a hollow shell once he's done with it.

That's what he did with the Mass GOP, after all.
