Not true. The first open Neo Cons were Irving Kristol and Norm Podhoretz. It was a group that was predominantly Jewish and felt there was a need for social spending but also felt a strong defense for the country was very important. When Reagan ran in ‘80, they moved out of the Rat party to support him.
Today Neo Con is a slur used by the left to slam Jewish Conservatives like Paul Wolfowitz and Bill Kristol.
