I don’t know what next week will bring, I am just thankful Tim Tebow is unashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Win or lose, he is a good fellow.
He makes me want to be a better Christ follower.
Agree! Tebow is so refreshing. The key is following Christ, as you said. JC is the best role model.
In a bit of serendipity as I could care less about Denver and care only negatively about the Steelers, being a Ravens fan...I chanced to pass by husband’s TV in his man cave. I saw, at that time, that the Broncos/Steelers game was tied and about to go into overtime.
“Wow,” I remarked. “It’s not often you get to see an overtime game. I’m going to turn it on out in my area.”
Which I did and husband came by and together we watched the coin toss. Just a couple moments of time, shared by husband and wife, both of us watching, not expecting to see much so soon.
Of course I need not elaborate, we all know what happened. My floor almost broke from the force of my jaw hitting it in astonishment that I would, at that exact moment, be watching a most amazing football play, my eyes glued to the set, my mind thinking....can this be....could this guy actually make it to a TD?
I’d heard of Tim Tebow, of course, but I didn’t even know that he played for the Broncos. Like I said....anything other than the Ravens I don’t know much.
Once I realized that the Broncos was Tim Tebow’s team it got really difficult to pick up my jaw.
I smiled deep into the night over the timing of it all.
