Why not?
Seems to be the case at my job - I'm supposed to just be happy I have the job.

That outta to work for federal employees as well...

My husband works for a municipality. Everybody (except police and fire unions) took across the board pay cuts a couple years ago (3% I think), and now they’ve been under a pay freeze since then. Why isn’t it acceptible? It’s what the rest of the country’s dealing with.

Federal workers have been getting step increases right along. Unlike their civilian counterparts. I don’t see them leaving for greener pastures..so maybe we should actually cut their pay.

I had a 1/3 pay cut 2 years back. I got a new job somewhere else this year.
