Santorum is overstating the case. A Romney nomination gives America a choice: quick destruction with Obama’s second term (those are revolting words!), or a more gradual destruction with President Romney’s slower transition to big government socialism.

Exactly HOW is Santorum overstating his case, again...?

Remember this when Santorum endorses Romney over Obama.

It doesn’t quite destroy the country. The US is more resilient than that. But it does destroy ANY chance of taking back the White House.

Romney can’t win. Not with his flip-flopping record. No amount of wheeling out defeated ex-nominees to endorse him, is going to change that, I’m afraid.

Yeah. I was listening to NPR this morning and they were going over some of Santorum’s “questionable” comments and the more I heard, the more I liked. I love the answer to the gay marriage question, “how about three men?”.

I’m going to have to do some more research on this guy, now that he’s actually in the running.

Not a fair statement

Should say Obama has destroyed the country and the rebuilding will take a Santorum, not a Romney who has a history of Mandatory health ins, higher taxes....etc etc..

-——The US is more resilient than that.-——

That is no longer true.

The whole purpose of the Obama regime is to destroy the plasticity of the country. Once the bounce is purged, the former resiliency is diminished beyond the ability to bounce back.

After that, the only recourse is war

Guess we can kinda rule out a Romney/Santorum ticket, eh?

He’s right on two fronts: one, it essentially makes this a one party system. Romney is a Liberal with an R behind his name. By nominating him, the Republican party is basically dead, and conservatives are lost in the wilderness (for a while).

Two, I don’t think Mitt will beat Obama. And we all know what he’ll do to this country with 4 more years.

No Senator. It doesn’t destroy the country. It simply destroys the Republican Party.

I like Rick Santorum, but what will destroy this country is four more years of Hussein. Hussein must lose in November, no matter WHO is on the Republican ticket.

Huckabee: Santorum Could Go All The Way

Thursday, January 5, 2012 04:59 PM

By: Jim Meyers and Ashley Martella

Former presidential candidate and Fox News host Mike Huckabee tells Newsmax that Rick Santorum can make it all the way to the Republican presidential nomination — and says Rick Perry made an “incredibly bad blunder” in announcing that he was reassessing his campaign after the Iowa caucus.

Huckabee also warns Republicans that President Obama will launch a “vicious campaign” in his battle for re-election, but “the best weapon we have against Obama is Obama.”

"big government socialism"

That is my biggest worry about Romney. As president, he would manage the welfare state better than the Dems. We don't want the welfare state "managed better," we want it torn down. I doubt Romney has the guts, much less the inclination, to attempt it.
