No.
He should bring up impeachment papers for this and many Many MANY other impeachable offenses.
He should not allow any cameras on for ANY entrance of the pResident, SOU or otherwise.
That is, he should not single out the SOU.
He should NOT single out yesterdays leap towards Dicktatership (SIC!) as being any outrageous than all the othgers... they are all linked as a cascade of escalating events to usurp our society.

The SOTU is a requirement, Constitutionally. A televised speech......or any speech for that matter....is not.
Historically, it was submitted as a written report and read on the floor. Washington addressed Congress. Jefferson submitted written reports, as did those that followed him for 112 years. Wilson brought back the joint session speech and Truman was the first to be televised.
It would be great if they did not extend the ivitiation to the Capitol building and just asked for the text. Won't happen, though.

The only thing that gets Boehner mad is when he is bumped from his regular appointment at the tanning salon.

Doesn’t the House have to invite him?
Simply enough, dont invite him, have him send it over in written form and have a clerk read it.

No, but the Republican response should mention it. Turning off the cameras would look like an infantile tantrum.
To: 11th_VA
First—the SOU does not Contitutionally have to be a speech made in person.
So—never invite the SOB for a speech.
Not likely.
Impeachmet is in order, but that would take Balls—since Sarah is nowhere to be seen, that’s out too.
What’s a conservative to do?
Will somebody PLEASE wake up Bone-er??

That can be easily portrayed as a childish response. Boehner should simply issue without fanfare a statement that the House Judiciary Committee will begin impeachment hearings. You can't deal with a tyrant unless your willing to do some serious blocking & tackling.

The SOTU is a Constitutional requirement, as is freedom of the press.
Denying television coverage of a Constitutional requirement is thus a violation of the First Ammendment.
Instead of a tit-for-tat violation of the Constitution, why not just bring the matter to the attention of the Supreme Court?
If that fails, then the House has the right to cut off funding.

I have always found the SOU to be less about the original intent of giving a report of the state of the Nation, and more and more about political posturing. Thomas Jefferson delivered his SOU addresses as a written, rather than oral report. A future President might deliver his as a hyperlinked document, with the general outlines written by the President, and more detailed reports by the various departments.
Also, in this post 9-11 world, I question the wisdom of gathering the top levels of our government into one room. It is the set up for the classic Tom Clancy nightmare
