I watched a few minutes of the procession through Pyongyang. Lots of spectators, none of whom had a weight problem.

The Norks who are allowed to live in Pyongyang are for the most part privileged party members. They have a sufficient although minimal amount to eat. The rest of the country is a basket case of poverty and disease.
