Sad day for Park Rangers. It is horrible when someone dies in the line of duty.

They would be wise to back of and not push this man, weather over time will drive him out or kill him. He is a combat vet and has mental problems.

I have contacted the Seattle Times and other local media asking them to please VERIFY the military history of this punk. Far too often, the press automatically attributes PTSD to people when a closer examination of their background shows little or no combat history. This guy looks like an angry wanna-be and I'd like to know his real background.
That said, prayers for the family and safety for the officers who are on the search!

Park rangers and game wardens have always struck me as terribly vulnerable. Important jobs that take a special kind of confidence and dedication.

Yes, very horrible, and her husband also is a ranger. Park Rangers should have better tactical training since they seem to be on patrol alone most times.
