I had one that sat on the kitchen counter and seemed to like company. We gave him to our babysitter when we moved from Oklahoma City.

Most bettas are very friendly with humans and once they know your schedule, they will greet you when you come in the door.

It was upper 60s here, and supposed to be the same tomorrow. DP took some Offspring to the park this afternoon. Tom and Bill were (supposed to be) doing schoolwork, and Kathleen and I had a nap.
We’ve watched a dozen episodes of “Lie to Me” already. It makes getting up in the middle of the night more bearable.

The freshly deceased man felt abject fear at the visual statement being made in front of him.
“It’s going to get worse from here on in, isn’t it.” he didn’t ask, he knew.
“We now have these neon signs pointing the way to most torments, most helpful I may add.”
Oh how he wished that they’d merely been neon signs.
These were more than just neon signs, these were three dimensional holographic bright nuclear colored neon abominations hanging in the air that one could see from lightyears away.
