>>> “We can’t have more than a 10 round mag in CA.”

AGP makes 10-rounders for the Saiga 12. I’ve not gotten to shoot as often as I like, but I am very happy with that shotgun and its AGP mags.

I expect that very soon we will have a new federal law passed saying that anyone intending to carry out a criminal attack must notify the intended victim of his intentions and allow the victim at least five minutes to retrieve his weapon, remove the trigger lock (which will be required by the same law) and load the weapon with only approved non-lethal ammunition.

Question for NM readers. I own a handgun but don’t have a CC permit. My boss says I need one (he has one). I say I don’t as I can legally have a gun in my house for self-defense and NM law allows me to carry it with me in my vehicle.
What say you?

An interesting case; strictly speaking you do not need a CC permit as NM is an open carry state.

If your boss tries to tell you that legal action will be used against you for openly carrying, that would be a violation of NM's Barratry Law.

Furthermore, there is an interesting Art II, Sec. 4 aspect: because that section affirms the "rights of enjoying and defending life and liberty, [...] and protecting property, and of seeking and obtaining safety and happiness."

No one knows exactly why...

Yup. That there is just pretending, any fool knows exactly why.

I have begun to observe, in media and in casual conversation among folks, there is (usually in the interest of political correctness) a lot of pretending readily observable things are not there. And honestly I am becoming quite tired of it all.
