Ron Paul makes me ashamed to call myself a libertarian and an isolationist. I am not an absolutist on either topic, but it is only a baby steps from casuistry to rationalization to totalitarianism and we need to watch the size and scope of government reach very carefully.
Regardless of ones political inclinations, making unwarranted, baseless and intellectually dishonest characterizations of ones opponent can never be called conservative; that is the stuff of totalitarians.
