Brian is sitting in for Tim Conway, Jr. Paulbots call in and refuse to give an answer about what Ron Paul would do if Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz. They simply go through the talking points of all the bad things we have done.

Did you see that Paul spokesperson on Fox earlier today “Jack Hunter” try to defend Paul on Iran. It was completely lame. I wanted to reach through the TV and yank off that stupid wig he was wearing.

I am soooooooo sick of Paul supporters repeating the falsehood that the military overwhelming supports him.
That information comes from Paul’s website, there is no evidence in the reporting agencies per employment listed that military people support him overwhelmingly.
I mean even that “military” event he held the other day only attracted 3-500 people total, and who really knows how many military people were actually there.
The few callers I listen to were weirdly funny.

That is kind of over the top, I seriously doubt any government worker is all that thrilled with him as he is advocating severe cuts to all government bodies, which is a good thing in my opinion, even the military.

Off work this week and got to hear the Paulistinians on everything from local talk shows to the nationals. They are truly robotic and do not sway from their programmed statements. Not one that I”ve heard can answer a question, they just continue louder with the statement when questioned. Strange people

This is why Ron Paul will not win. I agree with some of the historical things we done in the name of the Cold War that may cause conflict between US and Iran. However, acknowledging it will not stop the nuts in Iran from attacking Israel first as a precursor to attacking the US directly or indirectly. Ron Paul policy of less overseas entanglement would work once the US untangles all the strategic headaches it has today where we will be victorious or atleast left alone. Unfortunately our enemies will not simply let us go, especially the jihadist inspired Muslims.
However Ron Paul raises an interesting perspective. If the US had kept to the founding fathers emphasis on avoiding foreign entanglement, would the US have all these strategic threats and headaches we face today??? It is back to being the New World vs the Leader of the Free World, the pros and cons need to be debated by Americans as we enter the 21st Century.

Summing up, Paul’s military-connected contributions for the three months more than double such contributions to all the other Republican presidential candidates—and they also exceed Obama’s.

We rate his statement True.

Fighting communism, the system responsible for the deaths of a hundred million people was a foreign entanglement. We must now fight Islamofascism. To not do so is the ultimate death of Western Civilization.

Your post is a good reminder to the unemployed Paul cult members to continue to check the “military” box when they send in their allowance. But I suppose Manning would fully supprt that racist crackpot.
