My family is Macedonian, and I still have a lot of relatives over there. The human and drug trafficking is horrendous. Over 25% of the "legal" population is ethnic Albanian or Turkish Muslim. Most of the border cities are ethnic Albanian controlled too, with their own police forces. Pay them off, and they'll let anyone through.
