So a bunch of water melons in the 70’s, took over land from the University and pronounced it the “people’s park.” At the end of 2011, the University finally reclaims the land from the commies.

I’d think there’d be a permanet easment after the Univeristy allowing people to use it in that way. It seems to me that it’s a easment by prescription. It’s 5 years in California and the park has been there a lot longer than that. Of course the property since it belongs to the USC system is gov’t property they may be able to get around it but I don’t think so. Any lawyers know?
