Hamas top dog Haniyeh: Goal is destruction of Israel in stages
Jihad Watch ^ | December 27, 2011

They state their aspirations quite openly, but Western authorities remain determined to ignore them. "Hamas leader Haniyeh: Goal is destruction of Israel in stages," by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik for Palestinian Media Watch, December 27 (thanks to all who sent this in):

At a ceremony marking the 24th anniversary of the founding of Hamas, Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniyeh said that Hamas may work for the "interim objective of liberation of Gaza, the West Bank, or Jerusalem," but that this "interim objective" and "reconciliation" with Fatah will not change Hamas' long-term "strategic" goal of eliminating all of Israel:

"The armed resistance and the armed struggle are the path and the strategic choice for liberating the Palestinian land, from the [Mediterranean] sea to the [Jordan] river, and for the expulsion of the invaders and usurpers [Israel]... We won't relinquish one inch of the land of Palestine."

In his speech, Haniyeh also promised that Hamas will "lead Intifada after Intifada until we liberate Palestine - all of Palestine, Allah willing. Allah Akbar and praise Allah."

Two days later, contradicting Haniyeh's statements, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas said that Hamas leader abroad Khaled Mashaal had agreed that:

- "There will be no military resistance."
- "The permanent solution is on the '67 borders."

According to Abbas, Hamas agrees to a permanent solution on the '67 borders. However, Haniyeh said that Hamas agrees to a temporary solution on the '67 borders as a first stage only.

For many years, the PLO promoted a "stages plan" that would first create a Palestinian state on the 1949 - 1967 armistice lines, and then work from that position to destroy Israel.

Senior Fatah official Abbas Zaki recently stated that this remains the goal for Fatah as well, but that "you can't say it to the world. You can say it to yourself."...

And the world is willingly fooled.

The world in general knows, but chooses to ignore that all current Palestinian leaders have the ultimate goal of destroying Israel.

If it was true that peace would result, if Israel's occupation of the disputed area of the West Bank (Judah and Samaria)ended. Then why were Muslims attacking Israel between 1947 and 1967, when Israel occupied none of the area? Jordan and Egypt were occupying Gaza and the West Bank between these dates as a result of the armistice that ended the invasion of Israel by Arab armies in 01948. Why did the current people who call themselves Palestinians call themselves Arabs and have Jordanian citizenship between these dates. Why were Muslims attacking Jews in the 19th century, and early 20th century? Why did over 600,000 Jews have to flee Arab (Muslim)countries after Israel was established? Where is their right of return to regain their possessions taken by force from them?

Why was the area a wasteland until the Jewish settlers started coming back to their homeland and joining those Jews who have lived in the area for over 2000 years?

The world has to admit that Islam wants to conquer the world, not just take Israel out.

The world has to admit that if Israel exists, and the Bible is true, then Islam is a religion based upon a lie from the pit of hell.

The biggest Zionists in the world are those Christians who take the Bible literally and believe that we will be ruled by a returning Jewish Messiah (Yeshua), and that he will rule from Zion (Jerusalem). Funny thing those who do not believe this, are perhaps not Christians at all.

Satan has been trying to eliminate Israel for a long time, even longer than he has been using Islam as his weapon. There really was no Israel for a long time, depending on how you look at it - from the Babylonian conquest until 1949 - and yet its people are still with us, so this single-minded goal to destroy such a tiny nation seems strange. Give satan / allah credit for persistence, anyway.

Old news. Official policy below, note in 5 that Jordan will become part of the "palestinian state" as well.

THE PLO'S PHASED PLAN

(9.6.1974) Adopted at the 12th Session of the Palestinian National Council Cairo, June 9, 1974

The Palestinian National Council:

On the basis of the Palestinian National Charter and the Political Programme drawn up at the eleventh session, held from January 6-12, 1973; and from its belief that it is impossible for a permanent and just peace to be established in the area unless our Palestinian people recover all their national rights and, first and foremost, their rights to return and to self-determination on the whole of the soil of their homeland; and in the light of a study of the new political circumstances that have come into existence in the period between the Council's last and present sessions, resolves the following:

1. To reaffirm the Palestine Liberation Organization's previous attitude to Resolution 242, which obliterates the national right of our people and deals with the cause of our people as a problem of refugees. The Council therefore refuses to have anything to do with this resolution at any level, Arab or international, including the Geneva Conference.

2. The Liberation Organization will employ all means, and first and foremost armed struggle, to liberate Palestinian territory and to establish the independent combatant national authority for the people over every part of Palestinian territory that is liberated. This will require further changes being effected in the balance of power in favour of our people and their struggle.

3. The Liberation Organization will struggle against any proposal for a Palestinian entity the price of which is recognition, peace, secure frontiers, renunciation of national rights and the deprival of our people of their right to return and their right to self-determination on the soil of their homeland.

4. Any step taken towards liberation is a step towards the realization of the Liberation Organization's strategy of establishing the democratic Palestinian state specified in the resolutions of previous Palestinian National Councils.

5. Struggle along with the Jordanian national forces to establish a Jordanian- Palestinian national front whose aim will be to set up in Jordan a democratic national authority in close contact with the Palestinian entity that is established through the struggle.

6. The Liberation Organization will struggle to establish unity in struggle between the two peoples and between all the forces of the Arab liberation movement that are in agreement on this programme.

7. In the light of this programme, the Liberation Organization will struggle to strengthen national unity and to raise it to the level where it will be able to perform its national duties and tasks.

8. Once it is estabished, the Palestinian national authority will strive to achieve a union of the confrontation countries, with the aim of completing the liberation of all Palestinian territory, and as a step along the road to comprehensive Arab unity.

9. The Liberation Organization will strive to strengthen its solidarity with the socialist countries, and with forces of liberation and progress throughout the world, with the aim of frustration all the schemes of Zionism, reaction and imperialism.

10. In light of this programme, the leadership of the revolution will determine the tactics which will serve and make possible the realization of these objectives.

The Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization will make every effort to implement this programme, and should a situation arise affecting the destiny and the future of the Palestinian people, the National Assembly will be convened in extraordinary session.
