According to the copyrighted article, Gingrich said (quote):

“There is a huge difference between the philosophy of a supply-side conservative in the camp Regan tradition and the philosophy of a Massachusetts moderate”

And went on to list some of the FACTS of their differences in tax plans.

For example:

- Optional flat tax of 15 percent vs. keeping tax rates the same Corporate income tax rate of 12.5 percent vs. a rate of 25 percent

- Zero capital gains taxes vs. what Gingrich said is status quo for those making over $200,000

- Zero capital gains taxes on businesses vs. what Gingrich staid is status quo for businesses

- Strong dollar policies at the federal reserve vs. what Gingrich said is the status quo

- Optional personal Social Security accounts vs. cuts to benefits and raising the retirement age.

Go Newt!!

The whole situation with the Repubs in Washington, as well as the interaction between the candidates, has me concerned. There is so much paranoia in the Repub establishment ranks and they are letting it set the agenda. This is exactly what Obama and his criminals want to have happen — I do not get how they are playing into his hands so easily. The latest things was this two month money extension — what a joke. Again the Repubs caved.

What in the hell is wrong with these people?
