Add another one to the tally sheet, folks.
Very sad they had to encounter that dude on their way home.
These old people had no business on the highway. When Obamacare takes over the will be rationed out of here./s/
Obama and his democrats score another needless death of an innocent American citizen.
For Obama to get his desired votes, the lives of innocent American citizens must be destroyed.
The obammunists view this as "healthcare savings."
People who think like you( or don't think at all or at least of anyone beside themselves first) would make Seniors prisoners in their homes or force them into so called nursing homes by taking away their ability to leave their house to obtain groceries, medicines, go to the doctor, to church, visit family or friends or to work (yes work! look around sometime).
There are people who have been seventy years of age, who have been President of our country.
There are plenty of people in their age bracket that are very capable of operating a motor vehicle and they still contribute to our society and economy.
Sure there are some that shouldn't be driving but not as many as you think because most realize when they shouldn't and make the decision not to themselves.
If you will read the story and quit acting senile yourself will see that they were hit head on at an intersection and the woman killed, by a drunken, unlicensed, therefore unqualified, illegal alien.
If you want to do something that would really make a difference take away the right to drive of those that drive drunk and hopped up on drugs, you know the ones you see on the chase films. Check out their age bracket.
They way outnumber the ones that are a danger over seventy and they are out there every day and every night, not a couple of times a month.
As I said read the article and see if you can figure who was at fault in the fatal accident.
The women was in the first as is any one who hits another car from the irregardless of why the other car had to stop suddenly.
However if we stopped everyone from driving who had ever bumped into the back of a car in front of them or had a fender bender in a parking lot the majority of the world would be on horse back and most would be under seventy.
However, I believe that the poster in question was making a sarcastic comment. My guess is that the two of you are in agreement. :)

Thanks mr-n
I am 72 and drive and work (as driver) every day (there is something).
Came up with a ‘thought’ the other day though...
Lots of ladies are very impressed with a person in his mid 70’s still capable of working daily.
That they HAVE to work at that age is pretty much of an instant turnoff.
Just for your future edification when a post ends with /s/ it means the post was sarcastic, and really means just the opposite of what it says.
I placed it there-—didn’t really think it needed it, but obviously it did.
This is five minutes from where I live. Recently in Lakewood, about ten minutes from where this happened the 12 year-old child of Mexican illegals was killed, by another Mexican illegal. Call me heartless, I really don’t give a rip but I hate Mexicans and this is one of the many reasons why. Driving drunk is considered ‘’macho’’ by Mexicans males. They kill Americans , they kill their own kids. Christ Almighty between Mexicans and the Saracens we’re either going to be killed like this poor woman was(and the kid, ok, the child was innocent) or we’re going to be blown to bits by the Saracens.
Venturer wins an internet.
These accidents happen so often in the NYC suburbs it’s no longer an event worthy of leading story status on the TV evening news’ “if it bleeds it leads” business model.
Sad state of affairs that has no end in sight, that has no remediation in sight, that has no redress in sight.
Worse part is in the larger towns in NJ with large immigrant populations, the LEOs are under strict orders to ticket and release illegal aliens without legal drivers licenses, registration and insurance. The illegal aliens rearely if ever pay or show up to court for their tickets, and the tickets are left in limbo with warrants put out that are rarely enforced, due to the fact the illegal alien drivers have no wealth that the state can extract through fines and fees, and the costs of incarceration are so expensive that even after apprehension upon repeat offense, the judges let them walk with suspended sentences.
Meanwhile the Identification requirements for legal drivers to obtain drivers licenses in the state is the 1st or 2nd strictest in North America. The car insurance premiums are highest in country due to the cost of hit and runs (presumably quite often by illegal alien drivers), and the registration fees and title transfer taxes are some of the highest in the country.
The entire system from top to bottom is so broken there is little if any morale left inside the LEO and prosecutors offices to deal with the situation.
and i bet he had no insurance coverage.
