they always say they were wonderful neighbors and never heard of any trouble..even when its not so.

It always seems to be the “nice quiet neighbor”, the “good parent”, “the loving husband” types that do things like this.
If I’m ever forced to move into town, I think I’d be more comfortable if my neighbors were loud, obnoxious, wife-beating drunken a**holes.
