Yes not Hispanic as many were guessing. Yazdanpanah is an Iranian name. I must admit it seems a few Christian Yazdanpanah are around on the internet. This family is assimilated secular Muslims who wanted to leave that Muslim garbage behind in Iran. Or might be Christian Iranians with that name

At least some of the dead were Iranian Christians, the killer just a murdering psycho.
One was affiliated with the Iranian Baptist Church of Dallas and has christian friends in Iran.
