Jimmy Hoffa’s Driver Says He Was Buried In Cement Foundations Of GM Headquarters
Pat Dollard ^ | 12/25/11 | Daily Mail

The disappearance of Teamsters union boss Jimmy Hoffa remains one of America’s most enduring mysteries.

But now, nearly four decades after Hoffa vanished, his driver has claimed he knows where he is buried – and how he got there.

Marvin Elkind said Hoffa was killed by a mob enforcer and buried in the foundations of the towering General Motors’ HQ in Detroit, Michigan.

‘It was his own people who did it,’ Mr Elkind said in excerpts of a new book published in the New York Post, adding Mafia member Tony Jack insinuated he was responsible.

Yep. The most corrupt company I have ever had the "honor" to work with. I have worked all over the world in the most corrupt companies. GM in Michigan gets the ultimate award.

I had a project to certify the GM engine Lansing plant in the late 80s. Specifically the firewater loop was not in code. In fact it was a mess. I was told to make the certification right by the local union reps. They made me an offer and believe it or not "Bruno" from Chicago was going to come up and make it official. I walked away. Lost a lot of money on that engineering project.

Funny. I went to the middle east to work afterwards. I just had to pay for dinner there to get an honest contract. FUBO from the late 80s on.

The story doesn't seem to fit. The Ren Cen was started in 1971 and Hoffa disappeared July 75.

If they put Hoffa Jr’s body in a Chevy Volt, they would never find him, either.

I have the REAL story. I worked in a GM facility just outside of Detroit that was also being built when Hoffa disappeared. My office had a body sized spot on the floor that would regularly “bleed” through the carpet. We called it “Jimmy”. I would call Maintenance when ever the spot became too dark and tell them “Jimmy is trying to get out, again”. They would dutifully come over and clean the carpet.

"I read once that his body was stuffed in a 55 gallon drum and filled with concrete."

At a guess at 250 pounds, there would be 50 gallons of Jimmy, and 5 gallons of cement. This wouldn't reliably sink.

The drum itself has a good bit of weight. Plus they could have had Jimmy run through a meat grinder to reduce the volume..........

It might not have been Jimmy. It might have been any number of mafiosos that had fallen on hard times........

The simplest theory is probably the best here. Hoffa was killed somewhere in the Detroit area after being kidnapped from the parking lot of the Machus Red Fox restaurant in Bloomfield Township. He’s not under the end zone at Giant’s Stadium. He’s not buried off the coast of Bermuda, Bahamas, or any other Atlantic location. There’s no way anyone would transport his body that distance just to dispose of it. He’s probably not in the foundations of the GM building either.

Most likely, they took his body up north (where I’m from and where - especially in the ‘70s - the region was sparsely populated and the roads were empty) and buried it on a farm somewhere. At it’s most creative, he could have been loaded on a boat near Detroit, taken out into Lake St. Clair or Lake Huron and dumped.

I doubt reality is as complicated as folks would fantasize it would be.

Mob hits are not complicated or driven by passion. Double tap, little ride in a trunk and you're removed from the face of the earth. Most murder victims are killed by someone they know, some sources say as high as 80%. The passions or complications of their relationships usually lead to the suspect.

When you put that bumper sticker on your car did you think Fitzy would know the details of Hoffa’s murder?
