Emergency Sirens Signal False Alarm On Maui

WAILUKU, Hawaii -- Maui police are alerting the public that despite civil defense sirens sounding early Thursday, there is no emergency.
Maui officials are looking into why sirens used to alert residents to emergencies such as tsunamis accidentally went off.
Police spokesman Lt. Wayne Ibarra says the sirens jolted him out of bed at about 1 a.m.

Many moons ago, when I was young, dumb, and psych major in college, we had a term for it - 'operant conditioning'. A simple, repetitive stimulus/reward exercise to train the lab rat. Essentially the same way they train the parasite class in our country, but they're taking it to the next obscene level. This was no accident with the Kenyan arriving. Book it.

Well he is a disaster at every level. I think most voters needed a loud siren warning them of impending doom when they reached for his lever, or inked his blank circle in the voting booth.
