The city of Los Angeles is weighing a lawsuit against Occupy LA protesters to recoup financial damages sustained during the two-month encampment.

Like they have jobs to pay any judgement.
Their underwriters have the cash.
You invited a monster to your house, the monster trashed your house, and over stayed the invite, and now you want to sue????
IDIOTS!!!!!!
Amen! LA never sees a dime.
Send the bill to Obama.

They're just the actors. The financing comes from Soros and his ilk.
I like it. Get personal judgements and garnish their unemployment and welfare checks.
Well, first they were going to give them 10’s of thousands of square feet of office space, now this!
If they had carted them out after 48 hours, none of this would have happened.
Police broke up the camp last month and arrested nearly 300 people. An estimated $1.6 million was spent on police overtime.
All LA had to do was stop them on day one. Its LAs fault they spent overtime and maintenance budget; not the occupiers. Who, exactly would they sue? Individuals? Is Occupy a corporation? (Boy wouldnt THAT be ironic!)
If they sue individuals, which ones? Did LA identify all the individuals? I can see the third grade reasoning of, if-one-then-everybody, as in; if you didnt bring enough gum for everybody you cant chew it. (To which I replied, but thats communism. Let them bring their own gum. Whereupon I met the board of education.)
No worries... They have wealthy parents.
Sue Alcalde Villaraigosa, he let them keep up the lawlessness.
Lol.
they must have some money backing them
someone is paying for all those food service trucks and food and workers
I think if this was Obambi’s community organization attempt for this next election, he is even a failure at that
Won’t mean a thing if they’re not minors.
I say keep them tied up in the bureaucracy for as long as possible, just for fun.
If I were the Occu-pests’ lawyer, I’d argue that the City consented to the occupiers’ violations. Consented week after week after week.
I feel for the taxpayers of this misguided city, though. Their leaders coddle and tolerate these hippie filth, then the same leaders expect the filth to pay the costs? Good luck.
Idiocracy ...
Most people think it was an attempt to cover up the failures of Obama, which had been starting to percolate, even in the media.
