MYFOXNY.COM - Christmas trees and other decorations aren't allowed on display in the Staten Island ferry terminal this year because the city didn't want to deal with the prospect of lawsuits. But one Staten Island resident and self-described activist and artist decided to make a statement and bring a tree and put it on display. But to do that, he had to become the tree. Scott Lobaido dressed up like a Christmas tree and brought smiles and laughs to people's faces on Friday at the St. George terminal.

That’s the way to do it. And if everyone who supported nativity scenes put one on their front lawn, that would be great, too.
