LANCASTER, N.H. – Mitt Romney today said that the $40 many Americans would lose if the payroll tax holiday isn’t extended would make a “very substantial difference” to those who would be without it. “It’ll be the difference between having a meal that includes meat or just Hamburger Helper,” said Romney in an interview with ABC News’ John Berman aboard his new campaign bus in northern New Hampshire. “It could be the difference between being able to take your family to McDonald’s at the end of the week. It means the difference between being able to go to a movie or not going to a movie.” “It makes a real difference to the American people,” he said. The housing market is in the crapper and they are going to increase costs to the home purchaser...oh that is gonna help.... does no one in Washington understand economics?

I guess there is a frozen version of hamburger helper on the market. HH was the type of meal a 70’s mom was serving to the kids while dad was working late. That mom is about 75 now.

LOL you can still buy it...my kids in college buy it sometimes. HH circa 2011 is boxed and you add hamburger, or in case of chicken-helper, chicken, or tuna. Costs between $1-2 box. Have not seen meet included variety tho.
