Ex-Pres. Carter Sends Condolences to N. Korea (Carter is a national disgrace & an embarrassment)

Former President Jimmy Carter has sent North Korea a message of condolence over the death of Kim Jong-il and wished “every success” to the son expected to take over as dictator, according to the communist country's state-run news agency.

A dispatch from the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said Mr. Carter sent the message to Kim Jong-un, Kim Jong-il’s third son and heir apparent.

“In the message, Jimmy Carter extended condolences to Kim Jong-un and the Korean people over the demise of leader Kim Jong-il. He wished Kim Jong-un every success as he assumes his new responsibility of leadership, looking forward to another visit to [North Korea] in the future,” the KCNA dispatch read.

When contacted by The Washington Times for comment and to confirm the accuracy of KCNA’s account, the Carter Center provided an e-mail contact for a spokeswoman who is out of the office until after the New Year.

An e-mail message to her assistant was not immediately returned.

What a pathetic display from the 20th century's worst president. Carter is a national disgrace. North Korean dissidents and those who have escaped that hell-hole are rejoicing at this news, drinking, and throwing parties. Carter is sympathizing with Stalin-esque communists.

Big deal. Carter is an idiot, we all know that.

The real disgrace is our corrupt government and our lawless open borders, which have undermined and compromise our entire system.

When the time comes, the North Koreans will get to return the favor.

As bad as Carter was, and as Obama is, Woodrow Wilson was far, far worse. Orders of magnitude the worst president of the 20th Century.

Don’t forget that the next 40 or 50 years Obama will be doing stupid stuff like this.

I’m surprised he’s not flying over there with some complimentary yellow cake. Just use the suitcase you still have packed for Fidel and Hugo Jimmy.

Carter lusted only in his heart, but made an historic public disgrace of himself in moronically escorting the wretched mullahs back to Iran.

In light of the left’s hero warship of despots who are responsible for literally millions of deaths, such as Stalin, Kim, Ho, Mao, Castro, Chavez, etc., how can they legimately find fault with Hitler?

Carter is pandering for an invite to North Korea so he can become the means for a diplomatic opening to the regime. Fat chance.

Why I do believe that would be our very own Ron White from Texas.

A polite acknowledgment of the death of a relative of a new head of state doesn’t seem out of line to me. And it is more appropriate coming from Carter than from Obama or Hillary.

Now if the condolences included praise for the individual in question, that I’d reject.
