Not really. He made clear he backs the house's 1 yr extension.

He called the senate's 2 month extension an “absurd dereliction of duty”.

He said the House Pubbies should do what is “right” for America.

I don't think that includes passing an “absurd dereliction of duty”.

I didn't see any where in 2 separate sources that I read any quote that said he thought the House should pass the 2 month extension.

Is there a quote somewhere that supports the headline? It looks more like typical misleading conclusions to me.
