What are YOU talking about? Anna Der-Vartanian made Master Chief back in 1959. She'd be shocked to learn she wasn't in the Navy. LOL.

You are getting confused perhaps with the opening up of the ROTC programs in '73. Heck...there were Female FLAG offers in '72.

My OCS class had the very first females. The ratings that are sea going didn’t have women until mid-70’s. THat is when it went to #^&*.
