Several days ago, Axelrod said in regard to Newt. “The higher a monkey climbs a tree, the more you can see his a##.”
That remark, said with a smirk and wink, set the stage for the gleeful, no-holds barred, takedown of Newt by the media.
Two things about the remark:
- It codified the media double standard regarding Newt and Obama. In effect, Axelrod is saying: We can call Newt a monkey; but they can’t call our guy a monkey. Obama’s race protects him from the type of media attack now unleashed on Newt
- I don’t recall anyone on the Republican side going after Axelrod for this remark. Where is our RNC chairman Rince Princess? This is a bloody war for the soul of America and they’re playing it like it’s a normal election.
The RNC doesn’t want Newt. They want Rommney.
So they don’t care if he gets slammed and called a monkey.
Where is ANYONE on the Republican side?
Busy helping the Dems destroy SS and adding extra taxes to mortgages and refis - thus hurting anyone who tries to buy a house or refinance their existing one, like unemployed and retired folks might do in order to keep their homes -
Yup, they are just too damn busy to worry about their constituents or what they think. Let’s give them a break and send them home (permanently) and replace them with Republicans who aren’t too busy promoting the Dem agenda to represent us.
David was born in 1955. Joe Stalin died in 1953 ~ but the party central committee had free access and plenty of time on their hands.
